I've been working on the side for Pitter Patter Pix, taking precious photos of newborns in the hospital, with their parents.   How lucky am I?  Thought I'd share a little glimpse of one of my first days!

    Last week I photographed this little girl and her parents!  They were amazing people and I can tell she is going to be a blessed little one.  Her parents were so, obviously in love with her, and each other.   The parents literally glowed, as you can see!

  Being able to share some of the first moments of a life is such a gift! Even more so when the parents show their true selves.   Thank you to all of the parents who let me into their lives!  I truly cherish it!

I had so much fun photographing clients at the Janie and Jack store in the Gardens Mall for their Spring Promotion! Here is a very small sampling of some of the images! I hope I get time to do a "favorites" blog, because I have a few special favorites tucked away!

 

Happy New Year

It seems like a very long time since I have posted!! We were so busy with Holiday photos and a few newborns, too!  So, I apologize for not posting sooner!  Hope everyone had a fabulous holiday and New Year!

Today would have been my sisters 41st Birthday.  She passed away on April 17th 2007 after a long battle with Breast Cancer. Every day I wish I had more pictures of the 2 of us together.  Which is why I am writing this post.

You never know how long you have. People spend tons of money on the latest designer purse, shoes, etc. But few put any real value, time or effort on having photos done.  I can be held guilty to this as well. I am constantly taking pictures of my children and family- but rarely make it into one. If I were to pass away- my children would not have that many images to look back on of me- or even of me with them. 

Today, I am going to make sure I take lots of them!

So, I am encouraging everyone who reads this to do the same. I am not saying you have to hire us! LOL I am saying PLEASE make an effort to photograph yourself with your loved ones! Do not put it off.  If something were to happen to you or someone you love- the pictures and memories would mean more to who is left behind then your old purse or shoes.

Whether you grab your camera phone, ask the neighbor next door to snap a few for you, hire us or another professional........... Just be sure to capture those moments!!!  PLEASE!!!! Do not put it off another moment!
